



Each of these great tasting snacks are approximately 100 calories or less:
2 cups of unbuttered popcorn
one hard boiled egg
a banana, orange or pear
1/2 cantaloupe
3/4 cup juice packed pineapple chunks
1/2 cup low fat frozen yogurt
1/2 english muffin
2 melba toast with 1/2 oz cheese
1 slice raisin bread with a touch of butter
a handful of grapes
2 wheat thins with 2 tsp of peanut butter
4 crackers and 1 cup of tomato or vegetable juice
I was prompted to find some healthy snack options after a conversation the other day about what to grab for something quick to eat and also what do you give kids who are always looking for something to eat...especially in the summer.
